End-to-end encrypted
The most secure way to manage and share information. With end-to-end encryption, only you and those you give permission can access your information – not hackers, governments, and not even Collect’d.
Only you hold the key
The information you store in Collect’d is end-to-end encrypted and only you hold the key to decrypt it. Your unique decryption key is stored locally on your device and not in the cloud. Every time you share information within your Collect’d Private Network or while using Collect’d Secure Links, that information is re-encrypted exclusively for the recipient..
Don’t be confused, not all encryption is the same.
Most cloud storage and email providers are secured with encryption, but are not end-to-end encrypted. With standard encryption, these providers have access to the keys that can unlock your data. As a result, hackers can as well. Collect’d has no access to the keys and therefore cannot access your personal data.
Multi-layer security.
For the greatest level of privacy and security, in addition to end-to-end encryption, Collect’d uses:
- Bank-level AES-256 encryption at the core.
- Data segregation – multiple data stores for encrypted data.
- Randomized recovery keys (not generated from master passwords) that cannot be cracked.
- And many additional layers of infrastructure security to keep your encrypted data secure.

Collect’d Private Network
Your Collect’d Private Network (CPN) equips you with the simplest and most secure, end-to-end encrypted way to share sensitive information. Your CPN securely links together other Collect’d users that you trust (family, advisors, etc.) to share information back and forth in real-time.
You can invite anyone into your CPN. If they are not a Collect’d user, then they can download Collect’d Basic for free that will act as a read-only version of Collect’d. Once connected, you will be able to instantly and privately share with them anything of your choosing – from documents, IDs, passwords and much more – with just a tap.
For example, as a parent, you can create and share a Collection of your child’s sensitive medical, legal, and financial documents with their guardian. As the years pass and you update your child’s information (e.g., a recent vaccination report), it is also updated instantly within the Collect’d account of their guardian.
You control the rules and permissions and can change them at any time.
Secure Links
Secure links allow you to securely and privately share information with non-Collect’d users or organizations (school, work, etc.). You control access and permissions — who, how, and how long.
